Welcome Back!

Welcome to the new CISB Theatre blog! School has just begun and we are already back in the swing of things here in the Theatre Arts Department.

The Grade 6 students have been taking part in lots of theatre games and activities to help build their confidence onstage. We’ve also been discussing what it means to build a classroom community. Grade 10 Theatre students visited some of our classes to perform short skits on how to be a respectful member of Theatre Arts class.

Grade 8 students are very excited about their first unit “Yes, And,” which is all about improvisation! It is a super fun, but challenging unit in which students learn how to act onstage without a script.
